The Century is one of the newest editions to the evergrowing Century City Skyline. Constructed in 2010, this is arguably the best Luxury Highrise in All of Los Angeles. The building was developed by world-renown and respected New York Related Co. which has several other LA projects including their recently completed Argyle House in Hollywood.
In a city like Los Angeles, there are not a lot of tall Buildings. The Century stands out from the rest towering 42 stories. It is taller than any building on the nearby Wilshire Corridor. The building is remarkable because of its oval shape- which the architect Robert AM Stern another New Yorker. The views are spectacular as you go up the many floors. I love the highspeed elevators which will make your ears pop!
Amenities to Die For...
The building has 4 acres of luscious grounds and a private driveway that leads up to a gatehouse. There is not just 1 front desk person and 1 valet but a bunch of full-time staff to take care of your every need. The Valet will take your car, while you walk into a 25-foot high ceiling lobby. The top 6 floors are all Penthouses with massive SQFT. Normal Units are lettered A,B,C and D. They range in size from 2,400 sqft to 4,600 sqft. The Penhouses and Junior Penthouses take it up to another level with Square footage starting at 5,000 sqft and going over 10K. The price per sqft in this building ranges from $1,000/sqft to $2,000 sqft which makes it some of the priciest residential real estate in the city.
